Introduction to FSA

Filtration and Separation Australasia (FSA) is a forum to develop and advance the Filtration and Separation industry. It represents the common interests of the industry to Government bodies and acts as a conduit for information on global filtration and separation issues.

The organization is a special interest group within the Technical Textiles & Nonwoven Association and was formed to encourage an internationally competitive and innovative industry. It fosters the growth of an appropriately skilled and sustainable workforce through the provision of appropriate training, and inspirational speakers at member events. The managing committee of Filtration and Separation Australasia is made up of personnel from industry, R&D, and educational institutions. The organisation has various committees to ensure the members interests are met and carried out professionally.

Through its parent organisation, the FSA is mandated to lobby Governments on issues of importance to the membership.

Being a member of Filtration and Separation Australasia provides you and your colleagues opportunities to discuss issues affecting your industries with your peers and have those issues further addressed.

Identifies, discusses and responds to members‚ issues and needs

Works as an advocate to promote the common interests of the industry and its members

Generates and disseminates relevant industry information

Fosters the development and exchange of innovative and technical information

Through training fosters the growth of an appropriately skilled and sustainable workforce, or the Industry

Promotes the innovative and significant work being carried out by the industry

Develops networks of communication within the industry

Represents members‚ interests when dealing directly with government bodies
